Tips

Open your mail by a trash bin.
You are more likely to throw something away if there's a trash receptacle near by than if you need to leave the area you're in. Throw out mail you know you will never read or is just junk.  It will no longer clutter your kitchen table or desk.

Unwrap bulk items.
Unwrapping bulk items can save you both space and time.  Not only are they easily accessible but easier to store. Examples of bulk items: paper towels, toilet paper, bars of soap.

Step away from the paperclip!
Paperclips are great to hold papers together but they can actually cause more problems than they solve by catching on other papers within the folder.  Stapling relevant items together eliminates this problem.

Magazine subscriptions runneth over.
Magazines can be quite the clutter enhancer.  To cut this down think about what magazines you receive and if you're reading them.  If not, discontinue your subscription.  If you do, make it a routine to either recycle or throw them out once you've read them.  Like the article you just read?  Tear it out and keep it.  No need to keep the full magazine if you're only interested in that one page.  Keep the article in a binder sorted by category (i.e. home decorating ideas, exercises, gift ideas).  This makes it much easier to access again.

Don't be afraid to ask for help.
Life happens to all of us, that's a fact!  We can all use a little assistance at some point or another.  It doesn't mean we're not a great Mom or Dad, a magnificent Manager, or that we don't have a handle on it all.  Remember, you can turn over a new leaf anytime and there's no time like the present.  Give us a call today and find out what we can do for you!
